Dawn to Dusk
What she is, Im not. What she isnt, I am.
White and black both eyes and hair. Both wearing the same kind of clothes but different colours. Both have one eye. As the first doll continued watching, the doll-maker finally put on an eyepatch on the raven and thus, both arose.
As long as light exists, darkness shall never forfeit. Darkness will continue following light and so will light when darkness vanquishes. Without darkness, there is no use of light. You are built to complete one another, one cannot last without the other. If dusk never comes, there will be no dawn.
They were playing together in the rose garden. Their master only watched from afar. Not long after, it was time for dusk. They watched the sunset together, and be as close as any twins could be. However, when sun was out of sight, Dawn closed her eye. Dusk noticed how long Dawn didnt move. The raven shook her twin, telling her to wake up but Dawn couldnt hear her. Dusk was crying, she ran to her master in anxiety. She told the doll-maker about what happened and dragged her to her twin. The raven shook her twin again as the doll-maker witnessed the scene without any concern. The raven grabbed her masters gown and squeezed her hands. She pleaded for an explanation of this.
Thus, it was cleared. They were built to complete each other, as said. When it was time of dusk, the light will go out and the dark overcomes. But when it was time of dawn, light will return and clear the darkness. One has to fulfill her task while the other is put to sleep. Dusk was saddened. She hated this very much. She loved her sister and would do anything to be with her, even if it means betraying her own master. She hugged her sister tightly, not wanting to let go. They stayed like this until dawn.
Dawn opened her eye. She realized that her sister was hugging her tightly and was crying. She didnt understand what was happening. The raven was very relieved, but she couldnt tell her twin about their dreadful fate. The raven dragged her twin to the rose garden again and played together for a while. Dawn wanted to ask what happened but Dusk always managed to dodge the question. Then, Dusk suddenly proposed an odd suggestion. She said they should dance together every dawn and dusk. Dawn couldnt understand why but she agreed with it. They started practising together. Being one of the masterpieces of their great master, they mastered this ability fast and well. Though their dance was not like any dance, its quite like just spinning around gracefully. They liked doing this, very much.
Morning was seconds away and Dusk stopped dancing. She held her twins hands and said they will dance together again at twilight. She then closed her eye and everything was like a rewinded scene. Their master tolerated with this with her well-known patience. The first doll watched all along, she looked a little sad for their sorrowful destiny. As soon as Dawn found out what was happening, she waited for her sister to rise. She held the raven in her arms all day. She waited for dusk to arrive and unite her with her sister once again.
Every dawn and dusk came and went, all spent with joy and happiness with a graceful dance. Each sunrise was precious and every sunset was treasured. These moments were highly prized by the twins. They didnt hate the doll-maker for doing this to them, instead they didnt even care when their master went and built another doll. They were happy and grateful for their master, for creating them to be together. Together every Dawn and Dusk, together, they perform a beautiful dance.
